Wayne Wu

Currently a Masters student at the University of Pennsylvania. My passion lies in computer graphics, especially in 3D visualization, real-time and immersive technologies. In my free time, I love exploring new places, staying healthy both physically and mentally, and bartending.

Industrial Light & Magic

Applied Blue Sky Studios' USD concepts to ILM's pipeline, and established the long term USD vision across disciplines for the studio.

Production Technology TD

Blue Sky Studios

Designed and developed the next-gen VFX pipeline based on USD using Houdini's latest technology including Solaris and PDG.

3D Software Developer

SideFX Software

Devised the material-based destruction workflow and developed a suite of RBD tools. Designed an advanced FACS-based facial auto-rigging solution in Houdini.

Tangent Animation

Developed various Blender addons across the production pipeline for two feature films, such as character picker, constraint tools, and asset managing system.

Associate Software Developer

Electronic Arts

Implemented new in-game features and workflow improvemnts for PvZ: Garden Warfare 2's live service team, on both Frostbite and Blaze side.

Software Engineering Intern

Yahoo Inc.

Open sourced an internal toolset used for building efficient web services. Developed an Android solution for Yahoo's e-commerce search experience.
